I Love You (3)

Made Wianta, 2008, Calligraphy and Misty, 90 X 120, acrylic on fragrance canvas
1

I wrote this poem
With no on behalf of the people
Because I had people

You're never promised to accept me
As any. Beloved, know
I love you as poor people
Because the government always betrayed

But if the sun still rises the following morning
Surely you kusunting
But be prepared to get married in their hearts
For synagogues have been burned people
Diamond wedding weeping orphans victim DOM
Plus screamed Ambon and Timor refugees

2

For the sake of building a scramble scratch sky
For the demonstrators and the forces which shook the heart
With stones and bullets: I love you
But it was just loving homeland
Led by bandits and robbers

Jakarta, 2002
